What is Ghost Duck?
You’ve decided to get into the movie business and make a scary movie. Your monster lead character is a horrifying hot dog named Halloweenie. However, a hot dog isn’t scary enough. Two audience volunteers will help you cast a new monster with a tool of terror. Your volunteer Casting and Props Directors make their choices from picture cards of different monsters and terror tools. We’ll know if our movie is a hit when we check the “box office.” (It’s a box with a plush toy representation of the chosen monster.)

Spoiler Alert: The directors cast a ghoulish ghost with a rusty chain. (Rust can be dangerous)

Plot Twist: An unexpected duck, most likely evil, keeps popping up among the picture cards.

The box office opens and it’s a ghoulish ghost with a rusty rattling chain. Wait a minute. That’s not a ghost. It’s a duck wearing a pillowcase with a plastic chain. It’s a GHOST DUCK!

Make it Yourself: use our art and suggestions to make this effect with inexpensive Halloween decorations, a plush toy, and a box. You might even want to end with a CHAIN OF DUCKS!
